Most inside murals are painted on location over approximately 5–10 days, depending on the size, complexity, surface, and environment. Exterior murals can be completed in a similar timeline but with a team of two or more artists.

Watching the mural take shape can become part of the experience itself. Over the course of the installation, a blank wall gradually becomes an original piece of artwork created specifically for your organization and community.

Our Process

1. Discover Your Vision
We start by learning what you want the mural to capture. We talk with you one-on-one about your organization, space, themes, feelings, culture, ideas, stories, and visual elements you would like represented.

2. Create the Illustration
From a rough sketches to polished digital illustration, our team develops a custom illustration based on what we have learned. We work collaboratively with you to refine the artwork until the overall concept and design are approved.

3. Design for Your Space
Every mural is created for a specific physical environment. We map the approved illustration to your wall or architectural space, taking its dimensions, proportions, surroundings, and viewing experience into account.

4. Preview the Finished Mural
Before painting begins, we digitally render the mural within your space so you can see how the artwork will look at scale and in context.

5. Paint On Site
Our artist or mural team arrives on site, prepares the surface, lays out the artwork, and hand paints the mural. Depending on the size and complexity of the project, your mural may be completed by one artist or several members of our team.
